Lowe’s Free Kids Workshop – 03/24/2012 :D

The Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics is designed for children 1st to 5th grade. Although I have seen children both younger and older attend. The next one will be on March 24th, 2012.

This Lowe’s free kids workshop starts at 10 am until the they run out of free project kits. This usually means around 11.30-12.00 am. Some projects are more popular than the others, so they run out faster. Show up on time or earlier to make sure your kids get their free kits. You can also sign up online a few weeks before so they’ll save a kit for you, but they will only hold it until 10.15 am.

Greet or Turn Away Guests With A Unique Welcome Mat

Look carefully at this welcome mat. It’s pretty unique. With a rug like this you can express what you really want to say to uninvited guests. When you’re waiting for people to come over, you can have it say “Come In“, but if you’re not waiting for anybody, just flip it around to say “Go Away“. Some of you might think this is good for just a joke but people need some way to know when you don’t want to be disturbed. A “No Solicitors” sign would work but with this rug you can do it in a fun way.

So… what would you like to say today? “Come In” or “Go Away!”? 😀

Who’s Maddie’s Favorite? :)

What a smart & cute baby. I love how nothing can change Maddie’s mind during Daddy’s “interrogation”; not even a cookie bribe or a pony. Maddie knows Mommy is her favorite. 😀

Thanks to Candy for sharing this cute clip on Facebook.

The next Lowe’s free kids workshop will be March 10, 2012. It will start at 10 am until they run out of kits, or somewhere between 11.30 and 12.00. Some projects are more popular than the others, so make sure you come on time or even a little earlier to get your kit. Continue reading
