I’m thinking about making Halloween cake pops to bring to my son’s class on Halloween day. So, I started looking around for an idea & I found all these cute Halloween cake pops. Some of them even look simple enough for me to make.
Look at these Jack O’Lantern cake pops; very simple, round, with green candy on top. Drawing all those faces would be fun to do 🙂
The decision to make this cake was made 2 days before it was due. 🙂 So I didn’t really have much time to plan and as usual I didn’t know how I was going to decorate it.  The only thing I knew was that It was going to be a small cake; enough for about 12 people and I wanted it to be less complicated then my previous cakes.
This birthday cake ended up being a 6 inch double-layered round cake. It was a fun one and everyone loved the results.
If you think the art pancakes I posted about before were amazing, your jaw will drop seeing all these other art pancakes. They’re beyond amazing. These pancakes are more artwork more than pancakes for eating. I know I would feel bad if I had to eat one 😀

Last weekend I made these two birthday cakes for a brother & sister, Sammy & Karyn, who were sharing a birthday party.
The birthday cakes were each 3 layers of 6 inch round party sprinkle cake with whipped icing.
From September 6 – September 10, 2011, Chick-fil-A is giving away a free breakfast. You can reserve your free breakfast in any of these participating Chick-fil-A’s.
Once you choose a location, you’ll be able to choose the time slot to pick up your free breakfast. You’ll be able to choose what you would like from their online breakfast menu. 🙂
These are amazing and definitely works of art. I’m not sure if I’ll have the guts to cut & eat them. 😀 How did they make it? It would be interesting & challenging for me to recreate it. 🙂 Any one up for a challenge?

As long as you have a square chicken. Ha..ha..ha… Just kidding. This would pretty cool for a dinner party. It would be an interesting talking point.

This is a cool watermelon cake idea, that seems easy to make. You make the cake mix with pureed watermelon, egg whites & oil. Mix in mini chocolate chips for the seeds, green fondant for the skin & edible color markers for the strips.
