The next Home Depot’s Kids Workshop will be this Saturday, June 2nd, 2012. It starts at 9 am and lasts until 12 pm, or until they’re out of free project kits.
These workshops are meant to teach tool safety while the kids have fun and make friends. It helps them gain a sense of achievement with each project they complete.
This coming Saturday will be the next Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic, where 1st through 5th graders can work on a Lowe’s free kids project.

It starts at 10am until they run out of free project kits which is usually between 11.30 and 12.00. Kits can run out fast, so show up on time or be early to make sure your kids can participate. The next Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic will be this Saturday April 28th 2012. If you don’t know what this is yet then your kids are in for a treat. These free kids events are designed for children 1st to 5th grade; although I have seen children both younger and older attend.
It starts at 10am until they run out of free project kits which is usually around 11.30-12.00am. Depending on the project, kits can run out fast so show up on time or earlier to make sure your kids get a free kit. You can also sign up online a week or so in advance and they’ll save a kit for you, but only until 10.15 am. After that they have to give them away to kids waiting who didn’t sign up.

Every month, LEGO® Stores host an event for kids ages 6 through 14. They learn how to build a cool LEGO mini model, then they can take it home with them, and it’s free.
The next free LEGO Mini Model event will be Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012. It starts at 5pm and goes until supplies run out. Please double check with your local LEGO store for the event date & time.

I love taking my son to Lowe’s Build & Grown clinics. The kids workshop designed for children 1st through 5th grade is a lot of fun for him. I do see children younger than that and my son has participated since before he started school.
