A lot of us are not lucky enough to have family close by to give us a break from the kids once in a while. One of the many things a lot of us are unable to do, once we enter the parenthood, is to go to the movie theater. Well if you have a Harkins Theater near you, than you might just find your break. There are 30 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas.
The Harkins Theaters have what other movie theaters don’t. A “PlayCenter” with big windows located right in the lobby. It’s for potty trained kids aged 3-8 years old. As right now, it is costs $6 per kid, which includes complimentary popcorn & water.
So, while the parents are in the movie theater, the kids would be in the PlayCenter, watching child friendly movies, doing arts & crafts, playing with toys, reading books or playing educational computer games. The kids will be supervised by the PlayCenter staff who are trained professionals working exclusively in the PlayCenter. Each one fingerprinted & background checked.
Reservations are recommended, but walk-ups are also welcome.
You will be able to see the list of the Harkins Theaters close to you at www.harkinstheatres.com.
Have a nice break 🙂

That is a really good idea! They should start that at other theaters.
I think so too. I wish a lot of theaters are doing it, because most of people like to watch movies on big screen but not everybody can get a babysitter.
