This kept my baby’s tummy happy :)

When we looked around to get our baby a milk bottle, we had no clue which bottle to get. There were so many bottles out there. Each of them claiming to be the best. We bought a bunch of different types and went through at least 3 different bottles that we thought worked best before we found the MAM Anti-Colic bottle.

First, we weren’t sure about it, since it was very different from the classic style bottle. For example… to clean it, I had to take it apart & I thought it might be too much trouble. It turned out to be faster & more thorough, plus we didn’t need to use a bottle brush 🙂 Now I love the MAM Bottle. Here’s why:

* The wide opening of the MAM bottles made it very easy for me to fill & clean, but the bottle was still sleek enough for my son to hold.

* This bottle actually comes apart from top to bottom so I could easily get to spots that are very hard to reach in regular bottles.

* The bottom part has removable rubber vent which allows milk flow out from the nipple only while letting air in from the bottom. It reduced the chance of my son sucking in air. He never had a colic problem, and while I’m not sure if it was the bottle completely, I am sure that it helped.

* The Nipple for this bottle is silky soft silicone which is supposed to feel more real, making the transition from breast to bottle easier, but the part I liked was that the silicone was harder for my son to chew holes in (less risk of chocking). Also it’s not supposed to pick up smells as easy as latex ones.

* Finally This MAM Anti-Colic bottle has a self-sterilization feature, so you won’t need to get a special sterilizing kit (The video clip at the bottom explains it better).
