When I first saw this clip I was wondering what the bird was thinking. Was she trying to look prettier, or trying to replace clipped feathers so she can fly again? 🙂 Very cute.

I found out…this bird is a Rosy-faced Lovebird. A very playful and affectionate type or parrot. In the wild females are known to tear strips of paper and other materials then attach them to their backs before flying back to make a nest. It’s still very cute.
